Description used to reference the number of the serial device attached to the hardware. Many commands, such as "logon" and "set-baud", reference a port by its number.

In R83, "port" referred to the physical device number. In AP/Unix implementations, "port" is not always the same as the physical device, and can be thought of as the Pick port/number.
