tcl.start.rtc

Command tcl.start.rtc Verb: Access/TCL
Applicable release versions: AP, R83
Category TCL (746)
Description initiates the system real time clock.

This happens automatically during the boot process, provided a real time clock is present. If one is not present, the current time is requested from the person standing closest to the console.

On AP/Unix systems, this command sets the Pick date and time equal to the Unix date and time, clearing up any discrepancies caused by "set-date" or "set-time" commands.
